What Type Of Fish Will We Be Catching?

The fish we will be catching is Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat, Cutbows, Whitefish, and the occasional Brown Trout.

Should We or I tip my guide? How much?

Yes you should tip your guide. This is a service type indusrty, you should tip your guide as he will be working very hard to teach you the ins and outs of flyfishing and making sure you have the optimal chance to catch fish. A standard tip is 20%, but if your guide goes above and beyond feel free to tip a little more.

What Should I Bring?

Please make sure you have a Valid Washington State freshwater fishing license, this can be purchased at most outdoors shops and other large department stores like Fred Meyers. Don’t forget your sun glasses, sun screen, jacket, hat and camera. Remember if your fishing in the summer months it will be warm so shorts and tshirt are recommended but feel free to bring your backpack with a change of clothes if the weather looks menacing.


If you need to cancel your fishing trip just contact the shop befor 48 hrs of your scheduled trip and you can have a full refund of your deposit  or we can reschedul if you don’t make the call befor the 48 hrs you will lose your deposit


What Do We Do For Lunch?

We supply snacks and drinks for everyone and for an additional cost we can do a gourmet lunch which includes salmon or steak or an artisan sandwich from a local diner.

What Is Included In The Trip?

Your guided trip will include the boat to drift the river (if that’s the trip you chose), your flies, leaders, rod and the proper techniques to fly fish and of course your experienced guide!

What Is The Best Time To Go Fishing?

The best time to go fishing varies depending on the method of fishing. Spring is great for nymphing but the most preferred style is dry fly fishing which runs from June through September.

What Waters Do You Fish?

Typically the Yakima River is the main fishing grounds but we also will fish the Cle Elum, Klickitat, Wenatchee and Rocky Ford. We also offer destination trips such as a 10 bedroom lodge with all amenities on a private lake. Please call for more details.
