Fishing report for 07/06/2013

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe fishing has remained pretty strong the past couple of weeks. The crow creek guide staff hosted our first trip at our private lake in the Okanogan. We had an amazing time. The fishing was great and the lodge was just as awesome. Pictures will be coming soon. We are taking bookings for the end of September if you are interested please contact the Crow creek fly shop. The fishing on the Yakima river has been steady with hatches of Drakes, golden stones, yellow sallies, and the ever present bwo. The river is on the rise and has continued to come up and is running around 2400 cfs as of current. If you are walk and wade fishing be careful or consider an alternative local fishery. The Cooper river, Teanaway riverĀ or many of ourĀ small streams would be something to consider. If you need info on the waters to fish or what to use or how to access them please stop by the shop and we will be more then happy to give you a few pointers. Good luck out there and enjoy this beautiful weather.
